Martin and myself were both civil servants. He was in the Police (Special Forces unit) and I was a teacher. We never dream of having a business or being able to have one. However it was Pastor How and Pastor Lia who gave us the idea to start one. At that time I was still teaching in a primary school but I felt frustrated because I wanted to do more in church but could not because of the limited time I had. Pastors knew about how I felt and shared with me that if I wanted to do more, perhaps I could consider doing home tuition as it could give me more flexibility and time. I did that and then later on, Pastors encouraged me to dream bigger and to have a tuition centre. Pastor How also taught me how to grow the business and how to expand it from one centre to the 5 we have now. Martin later quit his job at the Special Forces because he wanted to serve God at a higher capacity and hence he joined me in the business. He oversees the operations of the business while I look into the training and syllabus. We owe all that we have to our Pastors.
