Q: Introduce yourself!
Hi I am Gareth Ong Ren Yi , aka ORY :)
I have been in HOGC since I was 12 years old and I joined the photography ministry at 14 years old. This is my 11th year in church :)
Q: What is the story behind your business?
It was in Heart of God Church where I learnt my photography skills.
My mentor, Josh Tay first gave me the opportunity to help him shoot for his wedding and that was where it sparked my passion to shoot for people’s significant milestone where they will remember such moments for a lifetime with the photos taken.
Q: Tell us something interesting about your business!
The name Lights and Pan was inspired when I was with my friends at a random cafe that had many fairy lights and pans hanging around. But it makes sense, because every picture requires good LIGHTing and the camera needs to PAN to the right moment. 🙂
